fulfillment ?

its been too long since ive used photography for myself. my desire to document the last couple of months has been limited to professional obligation and thats sad. this state, more commonly referred to as a rut, sucks. the present opaques the future. motivation is at a low. i feel like a machine. ahhhh!

Pull out of your self-proclaimed slump little girl. Get out there and shoot for yourself. On assignments, shoot for the paper and then go crazy and shoot what you want to shoot, without worrying about news content and all that stuff that your editors think they are looking for. I'm sure you do this anyway, but take time for yourself, and you'll probably find that fulfillment you need. And find a project to work on. And come to SLC to hang with your homie.

Kudos on the words, Tim. In order to grow as a photographer, you have to go through these creative slumps and and then bloom like flower once you begin to see something in a new way. It's hard to see yourself grow over time, but I have seen your plant go from a leaf to a long-stemmed bud. Now go bloom, girl.
